The Greene County Singers, under the direction of Sheilah McGregor Pound, will present “Christmasing with You” Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3:30 pm. They will share unique selections of choral music at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson.
Enjoy a “Carpenter’s Christmas Medley,” a piece that brings a bit of Bach and a traditional Christmas carol together called “Still a Bach Lullaby,” and a beautiful image in song of a peaceful, lovely, winter evening, “Stars I Shall Find,” to name a few of musical selections.
All are welcome. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted to help the Singers build their music library.
The Greene County Singers are entering their sixth year of being together as a choral group. Their music spans from Broadway melodies to secular, as well as inspirational, a bit of nostalgia and some classical pieces that many may be familiar with from past years of choral groups and music in Greene County.
